Cambridge and the area are served by a number of city parks. Veterans Park is the place where most community celebrations take place. West Side Park and Ripley Park also serve area needs. The Cam-Rock Park System offers 3 quiet parks between Cambridge and Rockdale.
   
Lake Ripley is ideal for water sports ranging from canoeing to jet skiing as well as fishing. Koshkonong Creek runs right through town and is a favorite for canoeists, too. Bicyclists can spend a few hours or an entire day exploring nearby Glacial Drumlin State Bike Trail. Mountain biking trails at Cam-Rock County Park include a 3.5-mile main loop with 2 additional trails branching from it. Hiking and picnicking are offered at Cam-Rock Park.
  
The main street and outlying streets of Cambridge are lined with various shops, offering residents and visitors alike shopping of all kinds. They'll find everything from food and clothing to flowers and jewelry.
